Cambria House
Cambria House is a beautifully restored
homestead with seven individually furnished rooms (all with
ensuites), private guest living and dining rooms, a large
sunny deck and established gardens.
Cambria House was built in the latter part of the 1800's.
Native timbers were used to build the house including rimu,
kauri and heart matai. The slates that are still on the house
originally came from England.
Over the years many alterations and improvements
have been made. In doing so effort has been made to stay in
keeping with the original building.
