just show you the best spots to travel to, you discover how
to have a great time with a group of people in a beautiful
area. Like all of our short trips we paddle at a relaxed pace
and pause often to enjoy views, stories and conversation.

After a full safety briefing paddle past bush-clad beaches
to the awesome Split Apple Rock. Explore tidal lagoons, sea
caves and check out the interesting sea and bird life.

(3+ hours guided)
A fully guided trip that takes in the atmosphere of the long
summer evenings in the best possible way. Enjoy the scenery,
calm seas and often spectacular sunsets that often prevail
during these hours.

These trips aim to give you a total Abel Tasman experience
in just one day. After enjoying one of our half day paddles
be back in time to jump on the 1:30pm water taxi to begin
one of our two walking options.

Get on the water earlier, Get back later. Kayak more. Sail
more! Explore the great beaches and islands in the Astrolabe
area within the Abel Tasman National Park, PLUS check out
coastline that no other trip gets to see including caves,
islands and Split Apple Rock.

A chance to explore the coastline in the quieter northern
end of the park. Paddle the peaceful lagoons of the Tonga
Marine Reserve and observe nature close up with NZ fur seal
encounters.

Royale with Cheese Tour
(8 hours guided)
Travel by water taxi to the northern end of the park and spend
the day exploring the Pinnacle Island seal colony, spectacular
tidal lagoons and the Astrolabe as you paddle south with the
prevailing weather behind you.

Not ready to go home after a day out on the Seals & Remote
Coast Trip? The don't! The 2 Day Kayak and Walk is an optional
continuation from this trip. You spend the night after the
first day in the heart of the Abel Tasman National Park. On
the second day choose from our North Walk and South Walk options
as you explore this famous track.

Overnight Journeys - Freedom
Freedom Rentals
(2-5 days freedom kayaking)
The Overnight Rental is about Freedom and independence. You
get to decide where in the national park you want to go, at
what pace ad what you do when you get there. A full briefing
and safety equipment are provided.
3 Day Kayak & Water Taxi Package
(3 days - freedom kayaking + water taxi return to Kaiteriteri)
Make the most of your time in the Abel Tasman. Enjoy three
days of freedom kayaking up the park without needing to retrace
your voyage to return. Let our water taxi do the work for
you.

3 Day Freedom Kayak & Walk
(2 days freedom kayaking, 1 day freedom walking)
After exploring idyllic beaches and wildlife on a 2 day Freedom
Rental our water taxi will meet you at 4:30pm on the second
day swap your kayaks for walking shoes. Stay the night at
Bark Bay or Medlands Beach before walking back to Marahau
on day three.
