Raft the Shotover River

Step across this great frontier
and meet the challenge of rafting the Shotover River,
experience the rugged beauty and unspoilt grandeur of
the breathtaking scenery as you conquer this wild and
untamed river. Tackle six rapids then raft through the
darkness of the 170 metre Oxenbridge Tunnel and shoot
the Cascade Rapid to complete the challenge.

River are exciting and the scenery is superb. Between
rapids you will experience calmer stretches of river,
with a unique perspective of the historic Kawarau Bungy
Bridge as your raft passes under. The grande finale is
the unforgettable 400 metre Dog Leg Rapid to end your
trip on New Zealand's largest volume commercially rafted
river.

What to Bring:
Change of dry clothes, swimming costume, towel, money
for snacks.
We Supply: Wetsuit, spray jacket, life jacket, helmet
and booties provided. Camera, videos and personal items
are carried at owners risk.

Rafting operates within strict safety guidelines. It is
important to listen carefully to the instructions of your
raft guide. Rafting is recommended for people over the
age of 13 years. Participation in rafting activities involves
a degree of risk and the rafting operator cannot be held
responsible for personal injury or for equipment lost
or damaged. We reserve the right to cancel or amend any
trip due to river, road, weather conditions or lack of
