All Travelpasses include travel by coach and ferry. 3-in-One and 4-in-One Passes include train travel, whilst 4-in-One Travelpasses include air travel.

Travelpass Ticket
You will need to advise us of your first contact address in New Zealand and we will courier your ticket to that address. This can for example be your first night's accommodation or a Campervan Company.

You will need to show your Travelpass ticket as identification when boarding coach services.

Travel Reservations
You can purchase your Travelpass on an "open dated" basis from us. You will then need to call the Travelpass Reservations Centre (within New Zealand only - tollfree 0800 33 99 66) and make your reservations at your convenience. Please quote your travel reference numbers when you call for bookings.

Or you can ask us to prebook your travel with the Travelpass Reservations Centre. If you wish to change your reservations at a later time, simply call the Travelpass Reservations Centre. They will change your bookings – subject to availability on the new service/s you require. There are no amendment fees.

If you wish to make reservations through a New Zealand travel agent a $NZ3.00 booking fee may be charged.

Summer Season - Book Early!
Our busy summer season is generally between early October and late March. If you are travelling during this time please make all your reservations as far in advance as possible. We don't want you to be disappointed or inconvenienced because your selected service is fully booked, particularly if you are connecting with other services.

Reservations Deadlines
For coach travel
At least 3 business hours prior to departure.

For rail and ferry travel
At least 24 hours prior to departure.

For air travel
As much notice as possible.

Seat reservations are essential before you travel. A confirmed reservation will ensure a seat for you.

Reconfirmations
If you have prebooked your travel sectors prior to arriving in New Zealand, please call the Travelpass Reservations Centre on the tollfree number to reconfirm your travel. They can then advise you of any last minute schedule changes.

Travel Reporting Times

15 minutes prior to departure.

For rail travel

30 minutes prior to departure
